AsiaEurope in Partnership with Liverpool Hope University

The AsiaEurope Hope Football Academy's role is a football academy which is open to all but also highlights Asian / Ethnic issues.

The objective is to create a graduate that has all the skills set to work within modern day football.

A modern degree from a established institution AND Dedicated football education including:

  • Level One Certificate in Coaching Football (The Club Coach Award) (Year 1)
  • Level Two Certificate in Coaching Football (The Football Association) (Year 2)
  • Level Three - certificate in Coaching football association (Football association / UEFA B) (Year 3)
  • The FA Emergency Aid Course
  • Certificate in the treatment and Management of Injury
  • F.A Child Protection Certificate
  • OneCulture Football Club Administration
  • Setting up football Leagues
  • Dealing with Football Agents
  • Work Experience at a football institution
  • Working with and understanding cultural racism
  • Also working with the in-house "One Culture" Programme.

The objectives of the Academy are to:

  • Create a Football Academy which is open to all
  • Highlight Asian / Ethnic Football;
  • Develop Asian and Ethic minorities into football;
  • Establish a better understanding of Asian culture towards Sport and Football;
  • Raise the level of Asian / Ethnic players;
  • Enable Premier and Football League clubs to identify and recruit the best of Asian / Ethnic talent;
  • Promote Women's football;
  • Showcase talent in one area;
  • Launch a dedicated Sports Studies (football) degree in the second year.

Overall, the role of AsiaEurope Hope Sports Academy is to produce Asian / Ethnic graduates who will find work within football and its associated industries in UK and Europe. The Academy constitutes part of the Liverpool Hope academic provision and is subject to the quality controls of institution. The Academy is not exclusively for Asian male students but may include students from other backgrounds (male, female and open to those with disabilities) interested in the development of Asian sport - football at this stage.
