The magic of 3D – now in Bollywood

When Avatar released, the entire movie industry in Bollywood stood up and watched and planned a lot of things after that. They clearly wanted to do something close to that. Scripts were discussed among other things, but then they realised that this was not what they could do.

But then a few of them have now managed to move ahead and have started work on their films. It was Vikram Bhatt who decided to start off with the idea to make his film Haunted. Work is on on the project already. Shirish Kunder is also working on his film called Joker – which he has now clearly tried to state is not a superhero movie as many of us have been informed before. Kunder adds that the movie is a drama and is about the triumph of the human spirit and the fight against all odds by an individual.

And now Ram Gopal Varma is also working on a film to be made in four languages, and that too in 3D. The film which is being called Amma is a treasure hunt which will be made in Tamil and Telugu apart from English and Hindi. The film is being made in English for the sake of the international audiences as Ramu feels that the movie has an international appeal as well. Well, well, guess the filmmaker has learnt a lot from his enemy from the Social Network Karan Johar. Ramu has already spoken to actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Sonu Sood, Zayed Khan, from the South Arjun apart from Abhimanyu Singh to be a part of the film so it can have an appeal across all the languages and areas.
