Saif to be crowned the 10th Nawab of Pataudi

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will be crowned as the 10th Nawab of Pataudi after the death of his father, Nawab of Pataudi Mansur Ali Khan, on September 22. A small ceremony is likely to be held in Pataudi at the end of this month.

Though the title of 'Nawab' is not recognised by the Indian government any more, this ceremony is being done for its sentimental value, especially for the people of Pataudi. Pataudi has been ruled by Saif's forefathers since the early 19th century.

Reports also suggest that Saif will not use the title of Nawab and wants to remember his father as the last Nawab of Pataudi.
