Madhuri adding charm

After a long break, the ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl is back to steel our hearts away. This time not on the big screen, but it’s telly where dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit is going to mesmerize her fans.

Following Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, the ‘dancing diva is the next, who is going to set the small screen on fire.

With reality shows gaining momentum these days, the silver screen bigwigs are not at all chary of making their appearance on small screen.

Promoting the show, Madhuri said, “It will set new benchmarks in innovation and creativity with different themes and challenges like shadow dancing, blindfold, rope acts and mid-air dancing."

Besides Madhuri, the sizzling Malaika Arora Khan and dance guru Remo D’Souza will be the other judges on the show. 

The dancing warriors

The fourth season of ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’, one of India’s most popular dance reality shows, is primed to be on air, with its attention-grabbing cluster of celebrity contestants.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande, the inseparable lead pair of ‘Pavitra Rishta’, will be seen competing on this show.

Mahi Vij of ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ and Govinda’s niece Ragini Khanna, his nephew Krushna Abhishek, along with actress Renuka Shahane and actor Shekhar Suman are among the others who are going to rock the dance floor.

Speaking about the contestants, the diva says, they all are achievers in their own fields.

“Some of them may not be good dancers and some may be average, but then the show is all about making non-dancers dance,” said Madhuri.

The show


The international show ‘Dancing with the Stars’, produced by BBC World productions, is the inspiration behind ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’.

The show with 12 celebrity contestants, fighting for the title of ultimate dancing star, is slated to be aired from Dec. 12.

While TV actors Mona Singh, Prachi Desai and footballer Bhaichung Bhatia were the winners of season 1, 2 and 3 respectively, lets see who bags the title of dancing diva this season.
