Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif to go to Trinity College

No, the two actors do not nurture any academic ambitions and are not being awarded a Doctorate for their ‘valuable contribution’ to the medium of cinema like some other Bollywood actors. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are, in fact, about to enrol themselves in the prestigious Trinity College in Dublin for their next film, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.

Director Kabir Khan had been to Ireland few years ago to shoot a documentary film on the Irish National Army and wanted to shoot his latest film in this beautiful country. The decision proved to be pretty hard to execute though. Unlike the educational bodies in mainland Britain, Trinity College proved to be much more conservative in granting permission to shoot a film in the campus. It was only after an assurance from Khan, that the film unit will be kept to the minimum possible level and the shooting will not cause any problems for regular activities that the authorities gave their assent.

But the assent came with a condition. The reputed institution has asked Salman and Katrina to enrol themselves for a course on a temporary basis. This will enable them to attend an orientation exercise conducted for new students and the stars will get informed about the history and legacy of the College.
