Monica Bedi excited to return to Bollywood

Monica Bedi, the Bollywood actress is all set to make a fresh beginning with her movie career. The Supreme Court has abstained from convicting her in the case of fake passport and her imprisonment sentence has been brought down to apparently 2 ½ years and she has already spent this time in jail and now she intends to come back to movies.

As stated by the actress the filmmakers couldn’t sign her into their projects as she had this pending case going on. Moreover, she emphasized that she did lose out on a lot of offers as she was not allowed to go abroad without the court’s permission. Now that the case has been cleared, she is eagerly looking forward to starting her career afresh.

In 2002 the Lisbon police arrested Monica with Abu Salem for having forged documents to enter Portugal. Then it was in 2005, that they were sent back to India. Since then she has served her imprisonment duration of 2 years and didn’t have to go back to imprisonment any more as the Supreme Court changed her sentence by cutting off the extra 2 ½ years sentence that she was supposed to serve.
